VP & General Counsel (Cambridge, Massachusetts)

Vinfen seeks a General Counsel to provide high level legal and strategic advice, selection and management of outside counsel resources to and representation for Vinfen. The General Counsel will provide advice and consultation to business clients on topics including but not limited to compliance with state and federal laws, contracts and business issues, general corporate matters, including corporate governance of all Vinfen affiliated companies, all litigation and navigating the legal system as it relates to Vinfen or Vinfen clients, mental health law issues, investigation of internal discrimination complaints; investigation of internal quality or operational concerns, real estate matters, administrative issues relating to employee benefit plans.

The General Counsel will possess extensive knowledge in the areas of employment law, contracts and litigation as well as working knowledge of real estate law, mental health law and corporate governance. Candidate must be skilled at working with a diverse population, have advanced verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, ability to handle various legal issues, and ability to handle competing priorities.
