My Review:

I have always enjoyed the Taste of Home cookbooks and magazines and have found lots of great recipes in them that my family has enjoyed. ?I jumped at the chance to review this one and I think it is a great cookbook. ?What I liked the most about it is that it starts at the beginning with kitchen basics that everyone should know. ?There are tips about pantry essentials and buying good cookware, bakeware, and cutlery. ?

There are a lot of great recipes in this book and every recipe includes a picture. ?I always like to have pictures included with all of the recipes, it makes it easier for me to decide whether I want to try to make the dish or not. ?Here are some of the recipes I found that I thought looked great:

  • Anipasto Platter
  • Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade
  • Red Pepper Shrimp Bisque
  • Steakhouse Mushrooms
  • No-Fry Doughnuts
I did have time to try out one of the recipes in the book so far, Sunday's Best Chicken. ?It came out great and my family loved it. ?I cannot wait to try out some more recipes from this helpful cookbook.

My Rating: ?4 stars out of 5
